M7 Priest Unit (x3)

The M7 Priest was an American self-propelled artillery vehicle used during World War II. Based on the chassis of the M3 Lee and later the M4 Sherman, it was armed with a 105mm howitzer, providing mobile fire support for U.S. and Allied forces. The nickname "Priest" came from its pulpit-like machine gun mounting.

The M7 played a key role in major campaigns, including North Africa, Italy, Normandy, and the Western Front, offering indirect fire support and suppressing enemy positions. Its mobility allowed artillery units to keep up with advancing forces, making it crucial for fast-moving offensives. Reliable and effective, the M7 Priest remained in service throughout the war and influenced future self-propelled artillery designs.

On our tabletop battlefield this motorised artillery offers a big bang for your buck. A 105mm howitzer gives heavy artillery support capable of destroying armour from the other side of the battlefiled. It is also more flexible and able to easily re-locate making it less vulnerable to enemy aircraft or artillery.
